The brochure is the accepted flagship of the majority of corporate literature. Brochures come in a variety of sizes and format. The size of a brochure is its surface area, like A4, the format is its shape. The most common size and format is A4 'portrait'. This means it is upright. When we say 'landscape' we mean it is wider than it is high and this can give a 'widescreen' effect for the reader. See examples:
